Mucuna sempervirens Memsl., evergreen woodiness liana, is one of the good plants for greening slope, which could grow in lots of types of soil and has high degree of adaptability. The studies on Mucuna sempervirens were very few at home and abroad, and the application of Mucuna sempervirens was stay within the area of gardens landscape. This paper studied on Mucuna sempervirens Memsl., compared with Hedera nepalensis K.Koch var. sinensis (Tobl.)Rehd. and Euonymus fortunei (Turcz.) Hand.-Mazz.which were used widely. The paper tested the harm degree of lianas in the condition of low temperature ,high temperature and drought resistance by the inverse-resistance physiologies index, including the electrolyte leakage , free praline (PRO), super oxide dismutase (SOD) and malonic di-aldehyde (MDA); the light response curve,temperature response curve and relative humidity response curve of three species of lianas were measured with LI-6400 portable photo synthesis system; testing and observing the growth of three species of lianas in different nutrient supply, and studying and comparing the low-nutritional resistance of three species of lianas; combining the assessment factor as inverse-resistance ,ornamental,gowth characteristic and so on, through arrangement analysis mode construct the appliance value assessment syeterm of greening slopes by the way of AHP. The main conclusions were drawn as following:(1) Drought resistance: The results showed that the moisture and the dehydration rate of leaf were decreased with the increase of drought resistance, water saturated deficit, the electrolyte leakage, PRO and MDA were increased . SOD was increased at first, then droped. The current of MDA had positive relationship with electrolyte leakage. Integrated assessment on drought resistance of three tested lianas is Euonymus fortunei>Mucuna sempervirens>Hedera nepalensis var. sinensis.(2) Hot resistance: The high temperature had positive relationship with electrolyte leakage by the analyse regression.The LT50 and hot resistance of three species of lianas which were analyzed by logistic equation: Mucuna sempervirens(68.12℃)> Euonymus fortunei(56.38℃)>Hedera nepalensis var. sinensis(46.99℃).(3)Cold resistance: Under low temperature condition, the three species of lianas had no remarkable differences with each other, with compared the electrolyte leakage, MDA and PRO. The cold resistance of three tested lianas is Euonymus fortunei>Mucuna sempervirens>Hedera nepalensis var. sinensis.(4) Photosynthetic Characteristics: under natural lighting, the range of light of Mucuna sempervirens and Euonymus fortunei is wide.The two lianas are light-loving and shade-tolerant species. The light compensation points( LCP) of Hedera nepalensis var. sinensis was low.the light use efficiency(LUE) and photosynthetic potential of Hedera nepalensis var. sinensis were highter than other two lianas,it had strong shade-tolerant. The adaptive temperature of three species of lianas were between 26~30℃at all.They all adapted high humidity condition.(5) Low-nutritional resistance and nature growth: under different nutritional resistance condition, the react of three lianas were different,and the growth of different parts of lianas were different. In low-nutritional condition, the root, stem and leaf of Mucuna sempervirens grew faster than Euonymus fortunei and Hedera nepalensis var. sinensis. Mucuna sempervirens had no observably different growing in different nutritional conditions.It could adabt the low-nutritional condition.The stem of Mucuna sempervirens grew faster than other two lianas in nature. Mucuna sempervirens could used for greening slope.(6) Appliance value assessment and designed modle : the general range results of AHP appliance value assessment syetermof plants used on side slopes of superhighway was Mucuna sempervirens> Euonymus fortunei>Hedera nepalensis var. sinensis. Mucuna sempervirens was one of the plants which choosed firstly for greening slope.On rock down slope and soil slope, Mucuna sempervirens could scramble by modle of net.On rock upper slope, Mucuna sempervirens could be used by modle of step.
