| In this study, 3 stocks of Henneguya doneci from Carassius auratus of Chongqing are founded and 6 species of myxosporeans from marine fishes of Southeast China Sea are founded: Henneguya doneci Schulman, Ceratomyxa sp. 1, Ceratomyxa sp. 2, Ceratomyxa sprenti Moser et al., Ceratomyxa reniforma Wu et al., Zschokkella sp and Unicapsulocaudum mugilum (Zhao et al. in press). They are subjected to 4 genera of Myxosporea. The present survey deals with species identification of myxosporeans using traditional techniques. The descriptions of these myxosporeans are in accordance with the guidelines of Lom & Arthur (1989) and Lom & Dyková(1992), while the taxonomy and experimental ways followed the compendious classified system and research methods presented by Zhao & song (2003). DNA sequence analysis is used to discriminate the closely–related taxa and deduce the phylogenetic relationships. Meanwhile, a comparison of some molecular techniques used in taxonomic study of some Myxosporeans is disscused. In this study, the partial 18S rDNA sequences for 3 stocks of Henneguya doneci were determined. By combining the 18S rDNA sequences of other species available in the GenBank phylogeny trees were built. Genetic differences among 3 stocks of Henneguya doneci and molecular phylogeny among some myxobolus species were studied.Otherwise, in the present work, the partial 18S rDNA sequences for 6 marine species were determined. By combining the 18S rDNA sequences of some other marine species available in the GenBank, molecular phylogeny among some marine myxobolus species were studied. The results of our study supported that gene sequencing and identification of morphological characters will enhance the taxonomy and systematics of Myxosporea. |
