The aim of this paper was to optimize the main technologic parameters of the saponification technology and re-decomposition technology in the preparation of calcium salts of long chain fatty acids, with palm oil, soybean oil and colza oil as raw material respectively. In the first trial, single factor experiments were introduced to determine the influences of saponification temperature, saponification time, the ratios of water to oil and over-salt amount on saponification rates of palm oil, soybean oil, colza oil respectively. The results showed that aponification temperature, saponification time and the ratios of water to oil were the three major influencing factors. By means of 4-factor quadratic regression orthogonal rotary experiements, the technologic parameters were optimized and the regression equations concerning saponification temperature, saponification time, the ratios of water to oil and over-salt amount were educed. The analysis results of regression equations indicated that the factors of saponification temperature and saponification time influenced the saponification more than the other two factors of saponification, and the interaction was the most significant between saponification time and the ratios of water to oil .The optimal technologic parameters of palm oil, soybean oil, colza oil were: saponification temperature were all 100℃, saponification time were all 3h, over-alkali amount were 6%,8%,4% respectively, the ratios of water to oil were all 7:1; The calculational values were consistent with the confirmatory experiment results. In the second trial, single factor experiments were conducted to evaluate the factors, containing re-decomposition reaction temperature, the ratios of water to oil and over-salt amount, influencing on production yield. The results indicated that the three were all major influence factors. The re-decomposition techniques were optimized with 3-factor quadratic regression orthogonal rotary experiements and the regression equations concerning re-decomposition reaction temperature, the ratios of water to oil and over-salt amount were educed. The analysis results of regression equations indicated that the ratios of water to oil were the most effective factor of the production yield; the interaction was significant between re-decomposition reaction temperature and the ratios of water to oil. The optimal technologic parameters of calcium soaps of palm oil, soybean oil, colza oil were: re-decomposition reaction temperature were 64.59℃,64.57℃,64.55℃,the ratios of water to oil were 7.58,7.58,7.57, over-salt amount were 12.73%,12.78%,12.80% respectively; The calculational values were consistent with the confirmatory experiment results.
