Study On Effect Of Lentinus Edodes Polysaccharide On Growth Performance, Immuno Function And Antioxidant Ability In Piglets

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of Lentinus edodes polysaccharide (LEP)on growth performance,immuno function and antioxidant ability in piglets and intended to discuss that whether the LEP can accelerate growth rate and enhance body-resistibility in piglets or not.One hundred and twenty pigs(Landrace×Large White and 11.34±0.62kg and 44±3d age)were randomly allotted to four treatments and each treatment was replicated using five pens containing six pigs per pen and the study lasted 28 days.GroupⅠwas control feeding basal diet,and LEP supplemented at 150,300 and 450 mg/kg in groupⅡ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ.The results showed that:1)The ADG of pigs between days 0~14 responded to groupⅡ,Ⅲ,Ⅳwas increased by 4.92%(P>0.05),9.43%(P<0.01),8.00%(P<0.05)conmpared with control respectively,and the ADG was increased by 6.81%(P<0.05),4.54%(P>0.05),5.44%(P>0.05)between days 14~28 and 5.99%(P<0.05),6.66%(P<0.05), 6.55%(P<0.05)between days 0~28.At the side of ADFI,groupⅢ,Ⅳwas extremely significantly increased by 3.10%,2.73%conmpared with control and 2.80%,2.43%with groupⅡbetween days 0~14,and the groupⅡ,Ⅲ,Ⅳbetween days 14~28 was 1.48%(P>0.05),1.34%(P>0.05),2.33%(P<0.05)higher than control;groupⅢ,Ⅳwas 2.06%(P<0.01),2.50%(P<0.01)higher than control between days 0~28,and the groupⅣwas also increased by 1.49%(P<0.05)compared with groupⅡ.Only the groupⅢwas 6.45%(P<0.05)lower than control between days 0~14,other days and groups were not significantly different.2)The apparent digestibility of pigs in CP responded to groupⅡ,Ⅲ,Ⅳwas increased by 3.16%(P<0.05),2.64%(P>0.05),0.13%(P>0.05),and the EE of groupⅡ,Ⅲwas 1.53%,1.37%higher than control,and was 1.80%,1.65%higher than groupⅣ,but was not significantly different.3)The ratio of diarrhea of groupⅡwas 23.08%lower than control and difference was significant;groupⅢ,Ⅳwas all extremely significantly decreased by 53.85%,and was all 40.00%(P<0.01)lower than groupⅡ.4)Serum TP,ALB,GLO of groupⅡ,Ⅲ,Ⅳhad a elevated trend and A/G depressed, but neither significant.TP was increased by 3.44%,3.62%,4.21%,and 1.81%,2.54%, 3.59%for ALB,and 5.63%,5.08%,4.99%for GLO,while A/G was decreased by 0.73%, 2.19%,1.46%.SUN of groupⅡ,Ⅳwas little higher at 2.87%,1.27%than control respectively,groupⅢwas decreased 0.32%slightly;and GLU of groupⅡ,Ⅲ,Ⅳwas increased by 1.05%,0.88%,0.35%,but all was not significant too.5)The GH of groupⅡ,Ⅲ,Ⅳwas increased by 7.25%(P>0.05),11.59%(P>0.05), 20.29%(P<0.01),and T3 was 8.24%(P>0.05),4.71%(P>0.05),32.94%(P<0.01) respectlively;the T4 of groupⅢ,Ⅳwas 2.61%,3.18%higher than control and 2.57%, 3.14%higher than groupⅡ,but not significant;Cor was decreased by 9.93%(P>0.05), 25.88%(P<0.01),11.46%(P>0.05)in groupⅡ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ.6)There was nearly not change about IgG in each group,but IgM of groupⅢwas 5.26%(P>0.05)higher than control and groupⅡ,and groupⅣwas 10.53%(P<0.05);C4 was not significantly different.7)Plasma MDA was decreased by 13.22%(P>0.05),23.42%(P<0.05),31.54%(P<0.01)in groupⅡ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ,and SOD was increased by 4.13%(P>0.05),13.13%(P<0.05), 24.69%(P<0.01),GSH-Px was increased by 5.54%(P>0.05),10.43%(P<0.05), 12.13%(P<0.05)respectively.
