| Fertility alteration of photo-thermo-sensitive male sterile (PTGMS) wheat was the base of the two-line hybrid wheat application. Different sterile wheat showed different sensitive stage of photo-sensitivity and thermo-sensitivity and the critical point of temperature and day length, definitude of fertility alteration in the photo-thermo-sensitive male sterile wheat can provide foundation for choosing the safe regions of male sterility line breeding and hybrid seeds. Fertility transformation of PTGMS wheat line BS210 were studied by means of photo-thermo control cultivation case include climatic cabinate, phytotron and different sowing date test in different regions. The main results as follows:1. The stage of thermo-sensitivity and photo-sensitivity was coincident from anther chamber formation to mononucleate. The BS210 was thermo-sensitive genic male sterile line, and was not influenced photoperiod. The critical temperature was 10~12℃.2. The BS210 fall across in sensitive stage in Beijing, if the low temperature lasted out one day or more, the seed set would descend, but the BS210 fall across high temperature (23℃) in sensitive stage in sterility environment, if the high temperature lasts out 4 days or more, the seed set would ascend, causing adulteration of the seeds of the PTGMS wheat in to hybrid seeds.3. The test of sowing at different date and different regions showed: safe sowing date of male sterile line seeds production was after Oct.1 in Shunyi of Beiijng, but safe sowing date of male sterile line breeding was after Oct.30 in Haidian of Beijing; safe sowing date of hybrid seed production was before Oct 20 in Funan of Anhui, but safe sowing date of hybrid seed production was before Oct.5 in Lijiang of Yunnan. |
