Four kinds of compound feed were prepared, of which the content of energy was equation and the content of protein was equation, and the content of crude fiber was about 7%, and four kinds of different crude fiber were from alfalfa, Chinesewildrye, corn straw, Prince's feather respectively. Sixty healthy young geese from Nong'an were selected for the study. The solid chyme was marked with alkane and Cr-marked fiber, the liquid chrome was marked with Co-EDTA, tested the flow flux, flow rate, mean retention time(MRT) of solid chyme and liquid thyme, explained the digestion kinetics of four kinds of crude fiber in gastrointestinal tract of goose. The contribution of every section gut in crude fiber digestion was analyzed and the digestion mechanism of different herbage was investigated. Alkane is a novel internal source indicator, it was compared with Cr marked fiber to study its application value on poultry nutrition. Expected the study of digestion kinetics of herbage could offer theory foundation for the utilization of high fiber in goose.Results indicated:Goose had the ability to digest crude fiber and the utilization status of different fiber base on the sources of fiber and the ingredient of the fiber. The metabolic rate of NDF from alfa(?)fa, Chinese wildrye, corn straw, Prince's feather was: 43.4%,36.4%,24.7%,20.4% respect(?)vely. The metabolic rate of ADF was: 43.9%,38.7%,35.9%,33.2% respectively, and the metabolic rate of HC was: 48.7%, 43.9%,37.8%,62.1% respectively。Duodenum had a principal role in the digestion of NDF from four kinds of different crude fibers. The metabolic rate of chyme marked with alkane and Gr-marked fiber was 20.4%-42.3%, 19.1%-43.4% respectively.The result of flow flux of ADF showed that gizzard had an important role in the diaestion of ADF. The metabolic rate of ADF marked with alkane and Cr-marked fiber was 33.2%-43.9%, 30.8%-43.3% respectively.The metabolic rate of HC was the highest in caecum. The results of this study showed that caecum had an important role in the digestion of HC, next for duodenum and gizzard. The metabolic rate of HC marked with alkane and Cr-marked fiber was 37.8%-51.7%, 32.3%-62.1% respectively. The kinetics parameter and the metabolic rate of fiber that was marked with alkane and Cr-marked fiber was accordance, but existed difference in every group.(1) In four kinds of fiber groups, the flow flux of solid chyme that was marked with alkane was higher than that marked with Cr-marked fiber.(2) In both alfalfa and Chinese wildrye groups, the rate of flow and mean retention time(MRT) of solid chyme that was marked with alkane was higher than that marked with Cr-marked fiber, but in both corn straw and Prince's feather groups the results that was marked with Cr-marked fiber was higher。(3) The metabolic rate of ADF that was marked with alkane in alfalfa group was significantly higher than Chinese wildrye, corn straw and Prince's feather (p<0.05) , but within Chinese wildrye, corn straw and Prince's feather-groups the differences was not significant (p>0.05). The metabolic rate of ADF that was marked with Cr-marked fiber in alfalfa group was significantly higher than Chinese wildrye, corn straw and Prince's feather groups (p<0.05), but between corn straw and Prince's feather group, the difference was not significant (p>0.05) .The result showed that the nutritional value of alfalfa grass powder was the highest, it has high-usage in goose, next was Chinese wildrye, corn straw and Prince's featherThe using of fiber in goose was base on powerful mechanical action of gizzard, added chemistry digestion of intestine and ferment of caecum. That was the synergistic action of different sections of gut.
