In order to further explore the differences of digestion-metabolism in China red steppe and Chinared steppe with half-blood limousin, roughage. The objective was to study the interact of nutritional leveland genetic background.Under the same feeding and management conditions, 40 bull calves of ChinaRed Steppe, China Red steppe with half-blood Limousin at the age of 12 months were divided into 4groups with 9, 9,11 and 11 calves in each group. According to the experiment of two factors and two level, the apparent digestibility and absorptivity of energy, crude protein(CP), dry matter, organic materials, crudefat, crudefiber, cellulose (CEL), halfcellulose (HC), Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF) and AcidDetergent Fiber (ADF) in conventional diet for China red steppe and China red steppe with half-bloodlimousine with different levels in diet were determined. Compare with the differences of digestibility andabsorptivity of same diet in different genetic bases China red steppe, and the differences of digestibility andabsorptivity of different diet in same genetic bases China red steppe.Evaluate primarily the productionperformance influnces of each nourishing substances in China red steppe and China red steppe withhalf-blood limousine. In order to guarantee the data correctly, the nutrients content of the diet weredetermined. The trials results Which were evaluated with statistic methods indicated:(1)ComparedⅢwithⅣ, the apparent digestibility and absorptivity of energy, crude protein(CP),dry matter, organic materials, crudefat, crudefiber, cellulose (CEL), halfcellulose (HC),Neutral DetergentFiber (NDF) and Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF) were not affected (P>0.05).(2)ComparedⅠwithⅡ, the apparent digestibility and absorptivity of energy, dry matter, organicmaterials, crude protein(CP), crudefat, crudefiber, cellulose (CEL), halfcellulose (HC), NeutralDetergent Fiber (NDF) and Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF) were not afected (P>0.05).(3)ComparedⅠwithⅢ, the apparent digestibility and absorptivity of dry matter, organic materials, crudefat, crudefiber, and Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF) were not affected (P>0.05), but crude protein(CP),energy, cellulose (CEL), halfcellulose (HC) and Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF) were significant (p<0.01).(4)ComparedⅡwithⅣ,the apparent digestibility and absorptivity of dry matter, organic materials, crudefat, crudefiber and Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF) were not affected (P>0.05), but crudeprotein(CP), energy, cellulose (CEL), halfcellulose (HC) and Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF) were significant(p<0.01). (5)The result showed that cow weight of groupⅡwas fast and the average daily gain was 1.21±0.67 and the groupⅠwas slowest. The average daily gain of groupⅢandⅣwas similar.Comparedwith other groups, the average daily gain of groupⅡwas affected (p<0.05).
