Three lipid levels (0, 2ï¼…, 4ï¼…, of fish oil and soybean oilmixture) and three VE levels (0, 20mg/kg, 40mg/kg diet) were supplemented into ninetest diets. The results showed (1) the increasing lipid levels and VE could improve thefeed conversion efficiency and reduce feed conversion ratio; (2) supplementation withVE could improve protein efficiency ratio at the low lipid levels, but not significantlyat high lipid levels; (3) supplementation with lipid could significantly improve therelative weight gain; (4) condition factors were improved significantly with theincreasing lipid levels; (5) the viscera/body weight increased with the lipid levels; (6)effect of VE on the liver/body weight was relative to the lipid levels; (7)supplementation with VE could improve the fat contents of muscles, and the dietarylipid levels had a significant effect on the body and muscle fat contents; (8)supplementation with lipid and VE could improve the SOD activities of the hybridtilapia; (9) supplementation with VE significantly improved the lysozyme activities ofthe hybrid tilapia.
