Urban public park is an important part for the city, a subsystem of the urbaneco-system, and a material environment space for existence in city area. It plays aimportant role in improving urban environment, raising residents' life quality andmodeling city image, etc.At present there is no unified calculation method, the study on urban green spaceservice radius limits only in the qualitative analysis of scale. In this study, urban publicpark service radius of three typical city parks with different service function in Laohekouwas discussed according to the principles of landscape ecology, landscape gravitationalfield theory and landscape accessibility theory, by using geographic information systemsoftware Arc/GIS and Arc/View. In this study, the concept of gravity in physics,equilibrium theory of city oxygen source and landscape accessibility has been applied toanalysis the service radius of urban public park. The conclusions are as follows:①It is more rational to constitute urban green land service radius according to theimpact range of service function.The urban public garden offer green service for its residents. It's impact range limits theservice ability for the residents, which is consistent with the coverage of service radius②Urban resistance affect the service radius of urban public park.Variation of the city green space service radius induced by urban resistance. Urbanresistance change the residents' choice for greenbelt leisure, the service radius of areawith large urban resistance is shorter and the scope is smaller.③There was a close relationship between city population and urban public parkservice radius.Distribution of city population determine the usage frequency of urban green spacein some extent. The usage frequency of cities with great population is higher, moreefficiency, and the service radius is longer.④The distribution of urban public park service radius is irregularBy analyzing the service radius of urban green space in Laohekou city, the followingconclusions are obtained: the border curve distribution of the urban public park serviceradius is irregular, because of the influence of urban resistance. The service radius getlonger in the area with large urban resistance, whereas it is shorter. ⑤The landscape quality and accessibility of the Urban green space impact on theservice radius' size. The service radius is longer in the city with high landscape qualityand good accessibility, where as it is shorter.⑥There were multiple service radii in the same city green space.The service radius with different function varies because of there were multiple serviceradii in the same city green space.There were more than two kinds of service radius insynthetic city park while the single service radius and serveice function in city park withsingle property.Therefore, the study on urban green space service radius is more effective to evaluatethe rationality of the city greenbelt' spatial distribution, to maximize the ecological benefit,to offer the reference ground of decision-making from landscape design in urban planningin future. Meanwhile, it also can extend to other city planning and construction. |
