Bolting for the best polysaccharide of atractylodes macrocephala koidz extraction programfrom three different ways was performed in this experiment. Cherry volley ducks were fed bycrude polysaccharides of atractylodes macrocephala koidz and the effect on growth in cherryvolley duck was observed then.The result showed:1. in hot water extraction way, four factors affect the extraction rate of water solublepolysaccharide of atractylodes macrocephala koidz,which were water amount, temp-erature,extraction time and pH value.The effection sequence is water amount>temperature>extraction time>pH value.In microwave extraction way, four factors affect the extraction rate ofwater soluble polysaccharide of atractylodes macrocephala koidz,which were wateramount,microwave power, extraction time and ethanol concentration.The effection sequence iswater amount>ethanol concentration>time>microwave power.2. It was concluded that in hot water extraction way, extraction conditon is as follows,to add 30times water amount of extractive at 100℃,pH=6 for 2h.In microwave extraction way, extractionconditon is as follows,to get rid of impurity with 70% ethanol first,add 50 times water amount ofextractive in microwave oven(800w) for 15min.In the best extraction way, extracton rate of watersoluble polysaccharide of atractylodes macrocephala koidz is high,which is 21.5% and 29.15%respctively.The experiment lasted 14 days.120 cherry volley ducks were randomly divided into 4groups with 3 replicates of 10 ducks,which were Control Group, Microwave Extraction Group,Water Extraction Group,Antibiotic Group.The result showed:1. In the all trial,there were four experiment groups,Microwave Extraction Group,WaterExtraction Group,Antibiotic Group and Control Group.In contrast to CR,ADFI,ADG and F:G alldiffered significantly(P<0.05,P<0.01,P<0.05).2. LA concentration was much higher in Microwave Extraction Group than the other threegroups.Serum level of glucose,GLO,AST was much lower in Water Extraction Group than theother three groups ,didn't differ significantly (P>0.05). Serum level of AST was the highest inMicrowave Extraction Group.In contrast to Microwave Extraction Group and Water ExtractionGroup,serum level of TP in CR differed significantly (P<0.05).3. In ileum,populations of bifidobacteria in Microwave Extraction Group and Water Extraction Group were 21.41%(P<0.01) and 18.63%(P<0.01) higher than Control Group,while 13.63% and11.02% higher than Antibiotic Group.In colon,populations of bifidobacteria in MicrowaveExtraction Group and Water Extraction Group were 26.81%(P<0.01) and 18.30% (P<0.01)higher than Control Group,while 13.74% (P<0.05) and 6.11% higher than Antibiotic Group.Inileum,populations of Lactobacilli in Microwave Extraction Group and Water Extraction Groupwere 22.49%(P<0.01) and 11.16%(P<0.05) higher than Control Group,and incolon,15.42%(P<0.01) and 14.84%(P<0.01) higher than Control Group.In ileum,populations ofEscherichia coli in Microwave Extraction Group,Water Extraction Group and Antibiotic Groupwere 8.58%,5.49% and 4.85% lower than Control GroupIn colon, populations of Escherichia coliin Microwave Extraction Group, Water Extraction Group and Antibiotic Group were8.58%,5.49% and 4.85% lower than Control Group.4. In contrast to CR, the index of spleen in Microwave Extraction Group and Water ExtractionGroup differed significantly(P<0.01,P<0.05).In contrast to CR,the index of thymus inMicrowavee Extraction Group,Water Extraction Group and Antibiotic Group differedsignificantly(P<0.05,P<0.05,P<0.01).In contrast to CR,the index of liver in MicrowaveExtraction Group and Water Extraction Group differed significantly(P<0.05).In contrast toCR,the index of kidney in Microwave Extraction Group,Water Extraction Group and AntibioticGroup differed significantly(P<0.05,P<0.05,P<0.05).The results showed that Polysaccharide of Atractylodes macrocephala koidz can improveEvery day gain,Feed intake and Feed efficiency, in the muscle and liver, directly improve growthcapability in cherry volley ducks.On the other hand,Polysaccharide of Atractylodesmacrocephala koidz influence on biochemical index of serum,in order to decrease nutritionwashed away and increase absorbtion.Polysaccharides also can improve the environment ofintestinal microorganism and indirectly promote growth capability.
