Presently the infestation of forest plant diseases and insects in China causes severe problems, fogger is mainly used to prevent and treat plant diseases and insect pests by the Fogging-carrying pesticide application technique. The fogger performance determination system is of very low efficiency. So, developing efficient fogger performance determination methods based on virtual instrument technology is urgent and necessary, which bears the promises of low cost and high efficiency of chemical application in diseases and insects treatment and moreover, will protect the forestry ecological environment, shield the operators from the dangerous concoction.The fogger performance determination system was re-designed and developed based on virtual instrument technology from the former determination system. In this paper, the idea of network determination system focused on fogger performances was put forwarded. The new system had following advantages: making full use of high speed and accuracy of computer; combing convenience and connectivity of world wide web; utilizing graphic LabVIEW as programming language and PC as platform; completing multi-passage signal acquisition and analysis; simplifying experiment instrument and equipment; improving the testing efficiency.
