| Although throughout the years development, fur animals breeding in China has beensweeping, about 20,000 fur farms with 10 million foxes and 7 million minks in cages alloverprovinces now in our country, fur farming is still running randomly without canonicalmanaging in authority control. Fur prices are always undulated and fur quality is much poorerthan developed fur farming countries. So promote the fur managing mechanism and establishthe fur breeding rule is urgent for fur industry in China. We studied the managing system ofFinland fur industry and went through all the new literatures from developed fur farmingcountries and investigated the typical fur farms in China again, under the decision of theMinistry of Forestry nr 2005/91, we establish all the rules exactly for Chinese fur industry,including fur farm establishing and environment protection, fur animal welfare protecting(suchas daily caring, disease defend and cure, physiology and behavior index), fur animal feed using,slaughter, fur product making, fur animal breeding(PC-software programme Sampo is used foranimal ID card making and fur animal information conservation and reproduce index counting,and it will be much helpful for improving breeding animal reproductive performance and furquality in China) and fur production evaluation, and for the fist time we establish a fur farmmarking system for evaluation in China, and we make suggestions for fur farming problemssolution. All these work would be really helpful for establishing the fur industry running rulesand the fur industry managing system for China, for correcting the fur farming conception anddeveloping current fur animal breeding methods, for fox population degradation, for fur animalpopulation quality and fur production quality increasing, and for accelerating the developmentof our fur industry to a healthy phase. |
