Loquat is a kind of fruit whose origin is in ancient China and it has benefits as follows, succulency , flavorful taste and the fruits can be put into the market in April or June when lack of other fruits in China. Therefore, many people like loquat, but loquat has lot of seeds and the seeds reduce the edible rate of fuits and eating convenience.,thus seedless loquat is the goal of many agricultural scients.The object of this trial is the seedless individual plant seleced in the hybrid loquat trees. The selected individual plant can be used to bred new seedless variety or be precious resource for futher investigation. Meanwhile growth regulators are used to improve the quality of fruits to meet the need of market. At last, the fruits of all bred loquat trees have been investigated and all basal indexes have been analyzed by statistical softwares to find the correlation of indexes.The hybrid loquat trees are numberd from 1 to 304, and all the trees which blossomed are investigated. 40 fruits were selected randomly from each individual tree and the basic indexes were measured. Based on these data, seedless individual plant had been selected. The next yare all the trees are handled with 500 mg/L GA3 to induce the complete seedless fruit. In January, March and April, cppu was usd to swell the fruits and there are 4 different levels, 0 (CK), 30, 50,80 mg/L.One seedless loquat tree had been selected from the hybrid loquat trees. The rate of mono-seed of the fruits is about 69%, with high quality both externally and internally. After the induction of GA3 100% of seedless fruit can be gained and handled with cppu, the average weight of seedless fruit can reach to 70g.The best treatment concentration of cppu is 50 mg/L for 3 times. This concentration can not only swell the fruits well but also save the cost.The number of seeds(z) are correlated with diameter of fruits' transect(x) and soluble solids(y).
