As an important component part of precision agriculture, Precision fertilizer was an efficient approach of reducing agricultural inputs, improving the quality of agricultural products and reducing pollution of environment. As a specific application machine of the prescription map, the spinning disc spreader played a key role in the whole process of variable-rate fertilization. Based on the existing foreign mathematical model of spinning disc spreader, the theoretical analysis of main parameters affected the effect of spreading fertilizer were developed in this paper, mainly including: position of orifice, size of orifice, pitch of vanes, angular velocity of disc and physical properties of fertilizer ; and in the test environment according to ASAE standard ,developed the spreading test of the indoor static model aiming at above main parameters with four common types of fertilizers in China, pointed out the effect with different parameters in the spreading test of spreader model; and combined with the variable-rate fertilizer test in the field with introduced ZA-M 1500 double-discs spreader ,specified that the spreader uniform and CV(coefficient of variation)changed with different application rate in the different application width and different spread pattern in the process of variable-rate fertilization in the field.In Windows XP operating system and Visual C++ compiler environment, according to Modbus communication protocol, achieved the PC serial communication with inverter by using MSComm control offered by Microsoft corporation and RS232/485 as communications medium, and realized the link between Visual C++ and Matlab with Matcom 4.5 offered by MathTools corporation, achieved the control analysis software of spreading model of spinning disc spreader. This software could not only conveniently control the spreading model of spreader in far distance, but also analyse, fit and interpolate the test date, so gain the visual image result; meanwhile, the software could analyse the test data of variable-rate fertilizer in the field, and allow yourselves to design different test plan. According to the import date, the software could generate the spreading curve of cumulative, fertilizer in spread distance direction, the spreading curve of cumulative fertilizer in spread width direction, the spreading curve of simulation double-discs and the spreading curve of simulation multi-pass fertilizer.In this paper, constructed the spreading test system of spinning disc spreader by combining single-disc spread model of spinning disc spreader with its control analysis software. This system could not only develop different foundation test of spinning disc spreader according to different needs, but also dealt with test date. and generated different spreading curve, so improved the flexibility and accuracy of spreading test.
