In recent years, with the development of construction projects and the rapid economic growth, it has brought two big impacts to the natural resources, one is land use/cover change, and the other is serious soil erosion. How to make the land resource to obtain the most reasonable use, protect the environment for maximum limit and reduce the soil erosion and water loss of construction projects, it's an austere problem for our country to face. This paper takes the electric power project as the research object. Bringing the space analysis predominance fully into play based on field survey and resolves the real problem. Research the land use spacial pattern change of construction projects and its impact on the water and soil landscape, and analyse the landscape impact degree in electric power project for the first time. For landscape effect degree, twenty-five typical investigations result indicated that eight projects are extremely serious, account for 32% of the total number, six projects are serious, accounts for 24% of the total number, nine projects have general impact, account for 36% of the total number, and two is lighter, which account for 8% of the total number.Taking the second 500kV transmission of Luoping-Baise as example, apply landscape ecology theory to research the landscape structure, landscape heterogeneity, landscape opening, landscape impact degree, and so on. It hoped that it can offer some scientific foundation for land use and layout of the region, continuable development of land resources and entironment management, and can offer sustain decision-making for economic development. It shows that power transmission and transformation construction projects have lower impact on soil and water conservation landscape. Because the disturbance is light, soil and water conservation landscape function can be recover after the construction.
