| The habitat selection of Giant panda in reproduction period in Foping Nature Reserve and Changqing Nature Reserve was studied. Based on the field investigation of habitat and partural and nurse cave of Giant panda in Sanguanmiao,36 sampling plots and 22 caves were found,and at the same time,based on the environment, property and structure of cave, and food conditions out of cave, data of plots was calculated by factor analysis and principal component analysis.Eigenvalue, contribution ratio and cumulative contribution was integratly analysised. The results showed that food factor and vegetation factor are the most important factor affecting habitat selection of giant panda in its reproduction period. Landform factor, conceal-ment factor, and disturbance factor have different affection based on different circumstances. The habitat selection of giantpanda in reproduction period is differentbetween two reserves.Thought analysising and treating cave and environmental data, slope type, distribution height and conceal-ment are the most main ecological factor affecting habitat selection. Slope position, altitude, dryness degree of cave, slope,water recourse, shelter ability for raining and bamboo density are less.The tyoe of cave don't affect selection obviously. So,the optimal cave is altitude>1800m at sunny slope, slope 40°-50°, distance of water recourse<150m, distribution height<1500m, good conceal-ment, excellent shelter ability for raining, dry cave and bamboo density 10-20 /m2... |
