The Influence Of Low Temperature Stress On Five Apricot Varieties In Lanzhou

In recent years, with the fast developing of biological agriculture, The planting of Apricot develops quickly in the cold area or the higher elevation, but in these area there are too much late frost in spring, so it is necessary for selecting appropriate varieties and producing safely to study the cold resistance property of Apricot varieties after dormancy in spring.In this article the cold resistance property and water culture germination rate of five Apricot varieties were determined and the index of cold resistance property of Apricot varieties was estimated.Through the determining of cold resistance property analyzing of correlation the results showed that the temperature of low temperature stress has linear correlation with the Permeability of Plasma Membrane, frozen index of branch, frozen index of cortex water germination rate in hydroponics, especially when the temperature was lower the water germination rate was lower accordingly and when water germination rate in hydroponics was lower Permeability of Plasma Membrane, frozen index of branch were lower accordingly. The Permeability of Plasma Membrane was most sensitive to low temperature stress, the frozen index of cortex was more sensitive to low temperature and frozen index of branch was sensitive.The results also showed that Permeability of Plasma Membrane can be regarded as a index of physiological change and in field the frozen index of branch can be regarded as a judging index of the effect on Apricot varieties of low temperature stress and analyzing of cold resistance property.The cold resistance capacity of five Apricot varieties was in the graduating order, that were shanxin, lanzhoudajiexin, katy, zhanggongyuan, lanzhoujinmama. when Apricot varieties was introduced in lanzhou area or the area of higher elevation, lanzhoudajiexin can be regarded as index variety of reviewing cold resistance property.
