This study was mainly to establish the system of breeding of pigs involving the purebred nucleus herd, breeding herd and economic herd by making Qitai County Pig Stud Farm as the first-line enterprise, to select series of the recipe of complete feed based on local stock, to improve survival percent of piglet by taking advanced technique, to establish the system of epidemic prevention and health protection, the system of environmental harnessing and the system of product quality, and to produce high quality market lean meat swine by utilizing the optimum hybridized combination. The production level of purebred pigs at the end of this study: gain of body weight in every day was 800g, the ratio of feedstuff to meat was 3.0:1, the live weight in 165 days was 100kg, the thickness of back fat was 18mm and the meat factor of carcass is 62%; the production level of crossbred lean meat swine at the end of this study: gain of body weight in every day was 750g, the ratio of feedstuff to meat is 3.2~3.5:1, the live weight in 170 day was 100kg, the thickness of back fat was 20mm and the meat factor of carcass was 60%. The stud pig farms produced live pigs in batches with pipelining, achieved to provide 1000 boars and produced 8000 market pigs each year. The polytechnics on high-quality lean meat swine were extended to all the Qitai County, achieved to sell 300000 market pigs each year, and the boars were extended to the entire Xinjiang province. The results demonstrated that it had better social efficiency and economic benefit to carry out the polytechnics of high-quality lean meat swine, It was established the foundation for no public hazard pig production.
