It is the only way to prevent the disease from vaccinating immunity.The investigation found that the pathogeny of goat-pox disease is goat pox virus, belonging to the sheep-pox genus of pox virus family. It is the only one that is duplicated in the cytoplasm. This is a double-stranded DNA virus having cyst membrane. Under the electron microscope, the virus take on egg-round particle look and its size is 167×292nm. The virus is relatively sensitive to heat, penetrating sunshine, alkali and most daily disinfectant and it can be stored for more than two years in the low-temperature dark place where it is under 0℃.
