| The biomass, productivity and nutrient cycling of young Acacia crass icarpa plantation(1.5 to 4.5 years old) were studied in 3.5 years(from 05/2002 to 12/2005) period. The results showed that the height and DBH increased with the increased of their ages, but descent of average increment and current annual increment. The biomass of young Acacia crassicarpaplantation (1.5 to 4.5 years old) respectively were 10. 64 t/hm~2, 28. 70 t/hm~2, 42. 15 t/hm~2 and 75. 45 t/hm~2. There were evident differences in top-down model of the biomass of different organs indifferent age-stage plantation. Net primary productivity of arbor increased with the increased of their ages. the maximum net primary productivity in organs was bole, the minimum was sucker.The major constituent of litter of young Acacia crass icarpa plantation were leaves, from 2002 to 2005, the annual production of litter respectively were 0.858 t/hm~2, 4. 879 t/hm~2, 5. 083 t/hm~2 and 4. 786 t/hm~2.
