Studies On Ecological Service Value Transfer And Ecological Evolution Of Hainan State Farm Bureau(HSFB)'s Rubber Industry

Hainan State Farm Bureau(HSFB) is the biggest base of natural rubber production, its sustainable development is very important to the natural rubber industry of China. Our studies are carried out with the theory of industrial ecology, compound ecosystem, and the method of economics. By studing the ecological service value transfer and the ecological evolution model of HSFB's rubber industry, powerful economic and social service function of HSFB's rubber industry have been discovered. The ecological evolution regularities of HSFB's rubber industry have been found. The studies also give some advice on the sustainable development of rubber industry.Rubber plantation is a typical man-made ecosystem. It's ecological service value is less than that of natural forest. The reduction of ecological service value can be looked as the transfer from natural to economic and social servic value. The ecological service value of HSFB's rubber plantation is 1826.10 yuan/(hm2.a) less than that of natural forest in 2003. But it has offered 20473.66 yuan/(hm2.a) of economic service value and 18324.90 yuan/(hm2.a) of social service value respectively. The ratio of total economic and social service value compared with the ecological cost is about 21: 1.As time goes by, the ecological, economic and social service value of HSFB's rubber industy have also increased to some extend. Based on the Nonelinear least square method and the results of service value assessment, the Logistic ecological evolution mathematic model was built. This model is precise enough to study and forecast the rubber industy's sustainable development. The evolutional history of HSFB's rubber industy can be divided into four phases. By analyzing the key parameters(Ki, ri) of the model's each phase, the evolution regularities of the system and the interaction of the main favorable factors and limited factors have been discovered. As a result, the main bottleneck factor of the development of HSFB's rubber industry is that production and service is not suitable to the market mechanism.Development is the eternal topic of human being.
