The physiological seasonal change of feeding and metabolism on the main bivalves in Yueqing bay is studied through in situ experiments, then the carbon budget equation is established. The impacts of the bivalve culture on environment are studied and analyzed through calculating, historical data and field survey. The main results are summarized as follows:The physiological parameters of feeding and metabolism on the main breeding shellfish Crassostrea gigas , Ostrea cucullata, Tegillarca granosa and Sinonovacula constricta were measured. The results indicated that the seasonal change of ingestion physiological parameters mainly behaved effect by water temperature and feed consistence. The change of natural water temperature has a positive correlation with the change of ingestion rate, breathe rate and oxygen consumption rate. Investigate of the seasonal change of phytoplankton in Yueqing Bay indicate that the phytoplankton abundance of Yueqing Bay has a positive correlation with water temperature.
