Farming Methods And Effect Value Of The Arid Land Of Northwestern Part Of Shanxi

The arid land farming is an international problem, especially the dry farming land without irrigation condition covers over half of the total cultivated area in China, and distributed centrally in the half-drought area and the arid area of Northern loess plateau of our country. Xinzhou is located in the half-drought and single -crop area of the northwestern part of Shanxi. The arid land covers more than three-fourth of the total cultivated land in Xinzhou. It belongs the representative typical arid cultivated land. So we need to study, develop, spread and perfect the arid farming technology and ways, to make dry land yield well and efficiently. By science and technology development. It's the only choice of steady development of arid farming. So the modern cultivated technology and way is a realistic guide to get rid of poverty and live a better-off life for such area.This paper is based on long term dry land farming experiment, research and reperated domonstration and practice. By sorting out and analysing the data, on-the-spot investigation and research, example textual research, we're studied and sum up the suitable serial superior cultivated pattern systemetically to meet the half-drought and single-crop area and different soil and ecological area on the loess plateau. Including:Loosening Soil ,direct seeding without spring ploughing on sandy and arid land cultivation. Bumping ridge covered by manure on cold and dry land cultivation. Covered by horrizontal step on the slope and dry land cultivation. Bumper crop ditch retaining water on the slope and dry and cultivation. Increasing soil moisure covered by plastic film on the flat and dry land cultivation. Increasing production of the year by pit and hole seeding on the raw and dry land cultivation. Retaining water and culturing of manure covered by living things on the dry thin land cultivation. Protective mechanized cultivation on the flat arid land, mechanized arid farming cultivation on the sticky dry land. We have also analysed and studied the suitable area, the technical thesis, the practical effect of every pattern.The research result shows every cultivation is the outcome of the traditional dry farming and the modern scientific technology. But every cultivation is aimed at the key problem of different dry land and then make good use of all kinds of skills to form the rules of operation.
