Hippophae rhamnoides L.contains plenty of flavones and also have some biological active materials. In this paper, nutrient content and the optimum extracting technology of flavones were studied。In addition, chemical constituent in leaf of Hippophae rhamnoides L.was studied. The systematic preliminary tests had been done by the methods of the tube-test. It was found that leaf of Hippophae rhamnoides L.contains tannin, carbohydrates, steroids, terpenoid, flavones, anthraquinones, organic acid ,cardiac glycoside, amino acid and protein, possibly contain lactone coumarin, volatile oil, lipin and saponin ,no alkaloid. In this thesis, content of some biological active materials was studied. The result showed that it was green resource deserve developing. Leaf contain plenty of fatty acid and unsaturated microelements, especially Ca,Fe,Zn.Solvent concentration, extraction temperature, weight ratio, extraction time were choosed as influence factors. On the index of content of total flavones in Hippophae rhamnoides L. leaf of Zhangxian in Gansu, and the optimum extracting technology was investigated by using the orthogonal experiment. The result showed that 1:14 of 70% ethanol to Hippophae Rhamnoides L. leaf weight ratio, 2h at 80℃for each time were optimal parameter. Nine compounds were isolated from water saturated n-BuOH extractive of raw material by means of polyamide, silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography. Four compounds were identified on the base of CI MS and 1~H NMR and 13C NMR and IR spectrum. C-1, C-3, C-5 and C-9 were identified as kaempferol, tiliroside, ursolic acid and isorhamnetin-3-O-β-D-glucosyl(1-2)-α-L-rhamnoside differently.
