Desertified land is severely harmful to human being survival and society development. Planting trees and grasses are an important way to control it generally. But there is a contradiction between eco-benefit and economical development. There are a great abundant of solar resource and predominance and potential to produce horticultural plants in solar greenhouses in this kind of area. But the shortcomings of sandy soil in storing water and fertilization are the most factor to restrict the development of normal cultural way in the sandy soil. At the same time, a great number of kinds of organic wastes of agriculture are outputed every year but the rate of recirculation use is very low in our country at present. It will obtain more income with fermenting them and amending sandy soil to produce in the solar greenhouse. So far, there was a few of reports in this field. The thesis used sandy soil organic substrates that were made up of humus of sheep manure and cattle manure with wheat straw respectively (for short sheep manure and cattle manure) with sandy soil by volume ratio, such as 0.25:1(T1 and T5 treatments), 0.5:1(T2 and T6 treatments), 0.75:1(T3 and T7 treatments) and 1:1(T4 and T8 treatments), the contrast (CK) is normal sandy soil culture, Cucumis ssp. muskmelon Pang as material and simple groove culture as planting way. The thesis studied the physical and chemical properties of substrates, and dynamic change of nutritious component of substrates, as well as the effects of them on plant growth and development, yield and quality of muskmelon during the process of plants planting. The results showed that:T1, T2, T7 and T8 treatments could decrease bulk density and specific gravity of sandy soil, and afford condign porosity in muskmelon fruit growth and development period. And pH value and EC value were perfect too. Total fertilization was sufficient to the muskmelon growth and development of the season, and the nutrient was released slowly in the process of muskmelon growth and development, which would be benefit to muskmelon growth, highly...
