The relationship between biodiversity protection and local community development is a dilemma that most natural reserves confronted in their construction and development. The community's conservation awareness and its socio-economic development have direct impacts on the result of biodiversity conservation.The key issue to improve the community's biodiversity conservation awareness and improve the community's condition is to know their needs and the main conflicts between the nature reserves and community. In order to transform the relation from opposition to cooperation, it is very important to grasp the main conflicts and the main factor of the conflict.This thesis mainly focuses on the relationship between the community and Przewalski's Gazelle Protection. Firstly, it points out the preliminary reason that causes Przewalski's Gazelle endangered with the description of the change of Qinghai Lake. Then, the interaction effects between the socio-economic activities and the Przewalski's Gazelle Protection is analyzed in the micro level. The livestock production, which is the key factor of the conflict, is also deeply analyzed. In order to have a further understanding the pasture farmers' behaviour, a logistic model is used to analyze the willingness and to protect the Przewalski's Gazelle.Thirdly, the K-Means Cluster analysis method is used to divide the pasture farmers into four categories according to their income level. The characteristics and roles of each category is described and analyzed. Finally, several suggestions and policy recommendations are raised to cope with the relationship between the Przewalski's Gazelle Protection and local community development.
