This paper deals with the taxonomy on the four genera of Heteronemiidae in China. The research outlines of four genera at home and abroad are reviewed. The morphological and taxonomic characters of four genera are given. the keys to male and female are also given. The new species are as follows: Dixippus paucigranulatus Chen et Xu, sp. nov. ; Phraortes fengkaiensis Chen et Xu, sp. nov. ;Ph. eurycerca Chen et Xu , sp. nov. ; Ph. jiangxiensis Chen et Xu , sp. nov. ; Ph. paracurvicaudatus Chen et Xu , sp. nov. ;Paramyronides angusticauda Chen et Xu sp. nov;P. chayuensis Chen et Xu sp. nov. .Ten species eggs of Heteronemiidae are firstly described in detail, and a key to of 25 genera in China on eggs is provided .According to the characters of adults , three genera , including Dixippus , Phraortes,Lonchodes, belong to close relation. The taxonomic difficulty and reasons are primarily analyzed, and then the geographical distribution on Phasmatodea in our country is discussed. All measurements in descriptions are in mm.
