The edible fungus culture medium of mulberry branches is the ideal soil for most Chinese edible fungus which is cultivated on sawdust. China is a major edible fungus producer in the world, but the manufacture of culture medium is fairly outdated, and the manual mode has a serious effect on product quality and production efficiency. Hence improving the automatic level of the culture medium processing equipment and enhancing the product quality have an important practical significance for accelerating the industrialization of edible fungus in China and agricultural modernization.The dissertation is based on the new automatic processing equipment for the edible fungus culture medium of mulberry branches, and its control system that has an automatic manufacture of the raw materials, such as burdening, weighing, mixing, transporting and packing, is researched and designed detailedly.Firstly, the components and manufacture technics about culture medium of mulberry branches are introduced detailedly. The control system of the processing equipment is designed totally according to the request of automatic manufacture, and the dissertation puts forward the new control scheme: the superordinate computer supervising system which is composed of PC and configuration software MCGS, and basic control system which is composed of PLC, touching screens, and various electronic and atmospherical components. The dissertation describes the function of every part in detail.Secondly, the basic control system is designed for hardware and software on the basis of control scheme and field-equipment control request. The dissertation explains the selective style of PLC, which is a main control unit, I/O address distribution, the design for electric connection map of the hardware organization and so on detailedly, and designs the flow chart of systematic procedure and the PLC program by using the order controlling design method. Moreover, the main function and the design of hardware and software about the touching screen are presented in accordance of its operational superiority in the processing field.
