Jinta Oasis lies in the middle and lower reaches of Heihe River Basin, standing in the middle range of the Hexi Corridor, where is also on the edge of Badain Jirin Sandy Desert. Recent years, with the rapid development of agricultural, the contradiction between the supply and demand of water resources is becoming serious and the sand dunes is moving to the oasis with the influence of natural factors, all which resulting in the ecological environment deterioration in Jinta Oasis, where is becoming one of the sensitive area influence over the sustainable development of Heihe River Basin. It is important to scientifically analyze the resources environmental effects of agricultural ecological systems in Jinta Oasis, which can give a great help for realizing and promoting the sustainable and healthy development of agricultural ecological systems in Jinta Oasis.Emergy theory, what is set forth on the basis of the energy analysis by H.T.Odum in the late 1980s, who was an American well known ecologist. In this theory, agricultural ecological systems is regarded as a complex ecosystem and the effect of ecological, economic, social and the characteristics of ecological flows in the agricultural ecological systems are comprehensively considered, in which offers a new way to the study of agricultural ecological systems.Based on emergy theory, this paper analyzes the resource environmental effects and the emergy input-output condition of agricultural ecosystem in Jinta Oasis, as well as studies the internal relations of component elements and its influence on the system. On this basis, directed by the recycle economic theory, an emergy indices system for agricultural ecological of Jinta Oasis is established, which is in order to evaluate the development level of agricultural circular economy in Jinta Oasis. At last, a pathologic diagnosis is carried out for the current situation of the agricultural ecological systems in order to find out the barrier factors which hindering the development of the agricultural circular economy in Jinta Oasis. The result can be found as follows:Firstly, both the emergy input and emergy output of the agricultural ecological systems in Jinta Oasis are increasing during the past 40 years.
