| Xinjiang hami melon is a one of the specialty vegetables,however the maturities influenced quality,thus to carry out the research of harvest maturity on its industrial development and market regulation is of great significance.SSC,hardness,vitamin C,organic acids,weight loose,decay rate,rotting index,POD activity,SOD activity,MDA content of defferent hami melons for different maturities under low temperature and normal temperature were investigated in this study.The results showed that:1 SSC ofâ… andâ…¡were first increased and then decreased,SSC were a litter higher than before storage under low temperature,but a slighter lower than the former storage under normal temperature,SSC of III were drop gradually.SSC of hami melon at matutity vary greatly,indicated that the SSC increased rapidly when physiological maturity.2 Hardness were decreased both H1 and H2 during storage,Hl was less slower than H2,and hardness of low temperature was less than normal temperature,but hardness of 'huang pi 9818' was higher than others both before and after storage.3 Vitamin C was dicreased because of the precence of ascorbic acid enzyme,in order to maintain life,organic acid that was regarded as one of substrate was consumed during storage,so its content were decreased.4 Weight loose rate were increase,weight loose rate under low temperature were slower than normal temperature,the increase of weight lose rate lead to decay rate and rotting index increase,in addition to of weight loss rate,diseases also contributed to the decay and rotting increases.5 The tendency of POD activity were different from SOD,POD and SOD activity' huang pi 9818'and '86-1' were high relatively compared with others,'huang pi 9818' and '86-1' could be seen more resistant to storage.MDA content increased,but the MDA content of different maturity increased was not the same,it was showed that the fruit of different maturity occured different levels of lipid peroxidation.6 On the whole,'huang pi 9818','xi zhou mi 25 hao','jin long' appropriate harvest for female 42 days,37 days,42 days after opening about 90%,90%,90% ripe in Shanshan. |
