The resource of agricultural biomass is abundant in our country such as straw, forage, and the throughput is in the leading position. Developing the forage is beneficial for the society, economical and biological. Therefore, recently at this stage there are still some crucial problems during collection, storing, and transportation, largely impose restrictions on the development of forage industry. Consequently, the technique of forage compression is life and death in straw, forage commercialization and industrialization.According to the situation of our country, based on the discussion of the research progress of forage compression theory, utilizing present open-cycle compression theory as guidance to research and analyze the progress of forage direct compression. Regarding to the demand of actual production and experiment, designed and produced a sectional dimension adjustable of compression chamber, and pressure Detroit sectional dimension adjustable compression test bench. By using computer controllable electronic omnipotent testing machine for data collection during the experiment, comparing, analyzing and handling the data, in order to figure out the relationship between the compression displacement, compression force and compression density during wheat and rice straw compressing.Apart from this, this dissertation apply numerical value software MATLAB/ Simulink for the main compression section of tying machine-kinematics simulation for crank rod system, hence to get the change curves of crank in different velocity, acceleration and displacement under different condition in crank rod system. Utilizing MATLAB simulation, not only avoiding the complicated procedure, but also shorten the designing cycle, reducing research outlay to observe the visualization and improve the design efficiency.
