The fruit body of Dictyophora echinovolvata which comes from the Edible Fungi Office of Fujian Shunchang, are devided into three parts: the edible parts of the fruitbodie(stipe and skirt), the pileus and spores, and the volva(skin and glial). The main subjects of this study included nutrition value of the volva (skin and glial), the extraction of bacterial antimicrobial active substances and polysaccharides from the volva(skin and glial). The objective of this study was to provide a scientific basis for the development and utilization of Dictyophora. The results are as follows:(1) The results show that the edible parts of the fruitbodie(stipe and skirt), the pileus and spores, and the volva(skin and glial),accounted for 33%,11%,56% of fresh weight of fruiting body, respectively. The contents of various nutrients and amino acids in the volva were close to the contents in the edible parts.(2) extracting the natural products from volva with different polarities, The results show that the extract antibacterial effect was best when the volva was broken and screened by 40 mesh and extracted for 48h with methanol. we found that the extract from volva with ethyl acetate had antibacterial effect to several bacteria, and we studied the impact of temperature, UV on the antibacterial activity of the extract, The results show that an inhibitory component in ethyl acetate extract has a good thermal stability .(3) Separating the crude extracts by silica gel column ,we obtained three components of antibacterial activity : DEVⅠ,DEVⅡ,DEVⅢ. We used DEVⅠwith the highest activity to separate for the second time, then obtained antibacterial activity component 7#. Through UV spectral scanning, we found that 7# in 244nm and 274nm had absorption peak at each one, two absorption peaks close to the peak area, the main component can not be judged, Separating the DEVⅢby GE Healthcare SephadexTM LH-20 column, obtained antibacterial activity components: DEVⅢ-1 and DEVⅢ-2, We used DEVⅠof which had the highest activity to separate for the second time, obtained antibacterial activity component DEVⅢ-2-2, using UV spectral scan, we found that both DEVⅢ-1 and DEVⅢ-2-2 had two main peaks at a wavelength of 210nm and 330nm.(4) Optimizing the processing of polysaccharides extraction from Dictyophora volva. from by orthogonal test, the results showed that the best conditions of polysaccharide extraction were: The volva was broken and screened by 40 mesh; water ratio 1:30; temperature 90℃;immersing 3 hours. The extraction rate was 1.356g/100g by best extraction processing. A polysaccharides, DEVPa, was purified by use of column chromatography on DEAE-cellulose column and DEAE SepuaroseTM Fast Flow column.
