Researched The Influence Of Main Climate Factors And TransplantingPeriod On The Tobacco Quality In Enshi

The main tobacco plant areas of Enshi located in Qing River Valley,and the tobacco of Enshi occupied an important position in tobacco production of Hubei.The climate was one of the important influencing factors on the accumulation of different chemical components,and the influence was different in different tobacco plant areas.In Enshi,the ecological conditions and climatic factors were diversity,that provided the basic conditions for tobacco with characteristics.This article researched the relationships between the main climatic factors and tobacco quality.To make use of the climatic resource and provide the theoretical basis for tobacco characteristics by analyzing the climatic characteristics and the way of utilizing climate effectively.The results were that:1.Based on the climatic datas,the eight tobacco plant areas were devided into four categories.The first category was middle-altitude low-rainfall suitable-temperature district;the second category was middle-altitude high-rainfall suitable-temperature district;the third category was middle-altitude low-temperature high-rainfall district;the fourth category district was high-altitude high-rainfall suitable-temperature.The variation of rainfall among years was largest ,the sunshine was second,the temperature was least.2.The eight tobacco plant areas in Enshi were classified to four categories by cluster analyzing.The first category was Badong,it was high-sugar low-alkali middle-k middle-cl low-pr district;the second category was Enshi and Hefeng,it was high-sugar middle-alkali high- k high- cl middle-pr district;the third category was Lichuan,it was high-sugar middle-alkali low-k middle-cl middle-pr district;the fourth category was Jianshi,Xianfeng,Xuanen and Laifeng,it was high-sugar high-alkali middle-k low-cl high-pr district.3.The main climatic had large influence on the chemical components in middle tobacco leaves.In the first category,the rainfall and temperature influenced the chemical components largely,and the effect of rainfall in rosette stage was the largest;the second category,the influence of rainfall in rosette stage,faster growing stage and maturing stage was larger than temperature and sunshine hours;the third category,the influence of temperature was larger than the other climatic factors;the fourth category, the influence of rainfall on chemical components of tobacco leaves was largest,sunshine hours was second,the temperature was least.4.Different transplanting periods influenced the growth conditions in fields,yield and quality largely in Xuanen ,Lichuan and Badong.Based on the climatic characteristics in current-year,the optimum transplanting periods was April 29th in Xuanen,May 13th in Lichuan and May 9th in Badong.If the differences of among years was small,we advised the transplanting period could advance at the areas which had the same altitude as Xuanen,that was in the end of April or beginning of May;the areas which had the same altitude as Lichuan,the tobacco transplanted in middle May could get high-quality tobacco leaves; the areas which had the same altitude as Badong,transplanted taobacco in the ten days of May could make full use of climatic sources, increase the yield and quality.
