To make clear the best fertilizing method and suitable density and put forward high yield cultivation technology system of yangu 16, furthermore, to promote the millet production level in Liaoning western, some key cultivation technology such as N fertilizer and P fertilizer and density that influence millet production were studied with the orthogonal design in this paper. The results showed that:1. The sequence of the contribution to the yield of the three tested factors was N>P2O5 > Density, and to the economic efficiency was N>P2O5>Density, and to leaf area index was Density>N>P2O5.and to plant height was Density>P2O5>N, and to grain weight per spike was Density>P2O5>N, and to spike length was Density>P2O5>N. N was the most important factor on yield and economic efficiency, then density was the most important factor on agronomic traits.2. The combination A3B3C3 has the biggest leaf area index, which N was 262.50 kilogram per hectare and P was 131.25 kilogram per hectare and density was 600 thousand plants per hectare. The combination A1B2C3 has the biggest plant height, which N was 112.5 kilogram per hectare and P was 93.75 kilogram per hectare and density was 600 thousand plants per hectare; The combination A2B1C1 has the heaviest grain weight per spike, which N was 187.5 kilogram per hectare and P was 56.25 kilogram per hectare and density was 300 thousand plants per hectare; The combination A2B1C1 has the biggest spike, which N was 187.5 kilogram per hectare and P was 56.25 kilogram per hectare and density was 300 thousand plants per hectare. When density was 600 thousand plants per hectare, the leaf area index and stem length were biggest. Because of exceeding suitable range of leaf area index, the grain weight per spike was more lower and spike was more-shorter. When density was 300 thousand plants per hectare, the grain weight per spike and spike length were biggest, but plant height was more lower because of lower leaf area index. Therefore, we may come to the conclusion that harmony of growth and development were promoted by appropriate density, which not only developed per spike production capacity, but also ensured population yield.3. The best combination of yield and economic efficiency was both A2B3C2, that is, when N was 187.50 kilogram per hectare and P was 131.25 kilogram per hectare and density was 450 thousand plants per hectare, both yield and economic efficiency of yangu6 were best.
