The experiments was conducted with varieties comparison testing in Hunan Jinjian Seed INDUSTRY CO.LTD in 2008,Hunan regional test in 2008 and the hybrid rice combinations authorized in Hunan. Varieties comparison, production of regional combination, four production factors and five competitive advantages of agronomic characters, comparative study varieties comparison and regional test, varieties comparison and product of authorized combination, production factors and competitive advantage of agronomic characters, inorder to find out the gap,provides reference and a train of thought. The main research results are as follows:1.The variety test of production compete vigor on rice shows that single cropping late rice is the best, both single cropping late rice and mid-maturation late rice stand head, which are derived from the rice region test. The production of 56 in 107 variety test groupings increases more than the production of the check variety. The range of competitive advantage on mid-maturation early rice, relayed early rice, single cropping late rice, mid-maturation late rice and relayed late rice respectively is 2.9%-5.9%(2 of them are significant),2.9%-4.5%(1 of them is significant),0.3%-11.4%(18 of them are highly significant,8 of them are significant),2.3%-3.7% and 0.7%-4.6%.The production of 81 in 125 regional test grouping increases more than the production of the contrast variety. The range of production competitive advantage from different types of grouping respectively is 0.6%-6.4%(3 of them are significant),0.3%-3.8%(1 of them is significant),0.3%-7.8%(1 of them is highly significant,5 of them are significant),0.3%-7.9%(6 of them are significant) and 1.3%-4.5%.2. The product level of most varieties comparison combination is low than regional test combination. The average production and production amplitude of tested variety combination is obviously lower than regional test combination except for late rice which is the same as regional test combination. Compared with authorized combination, the product yield average competitive advantage of varieties comparison combination which obviously increases more than contrast varieties, early rice and single cropping late rice are higher than authorized combination 1.9-4.2 percentage points, late rice is lower than authorized combination 0.4-0.7 percentage point.3. Competitive advantage of production factors characters, grains per panicle are the strongest in most of varieties comparison, regional test and authorized combination, especially combination of a season for late rice types, then thousand grains weight, number of productive ear is the worst. In 29 varieties comparison,16 regional combinations and 30 authorized combinations with significant production competitive advantage, there are 27 grains per panicle,12 thousand grains weight and 25 number of productive ear with stronger competitive advantage.4. Competitive advantage of agronomic characters, most of varieties comparison combination has problems of plant hight, weak tiller ability and low ear bearing rate.5. At persent basis, the mid-maturation early rice should make great efforts to enhance number of productive ear and thousand grains weight,reduce plant hight; relayed early rice should develop maturing rate;single cropping late rice should incresaze number of productive ear from cultivation and breeding; mid-maturation late rice should raise spikelets number of per panicle,tiller ability and ear bearing rate,cut down plant hight; relayed late rice should raise the number of kernels per ear.
