Scientifically classifying the woodlands is of great practical significance for improving the optimization and deployment of woodland and strengthening its management. It is also an important way to intensify the reform of forest ownership.It constructs a forest classifying technological system based on the current relevant achievements of forest site evaluation in our country. Composite analysis on the factors such as economy, society and nature that impact the quality of the forest is carried out through the quality classification of forest site and ecological economy. The natural quality classification can be confirmed on the basis of the site quality analysis and suitable evaluation according to the site type. The composite index of woodland is confirmed according to the investigation results of the regional land use and socio-economic level. In the session of site quality classification, coefficient grading method is proposed by using the eight prominent factors that effect forest site natural quality such as landscape, soil type, slope, soil thickness, table of soil thickness, slope position, slope gradient, and elevation. The grading coefficient can be indicated the level of each factor. The leading factor can be selected among the eight factors by stepwise discriminant method. And the forest site quality is classified by equivalent coefficient and discriminant function. In the session of ecological quality, based on the delineated classified units of forest site quality, we chose certain representative community structure, land cover, species diversity, logging conditions, the transport distance, the operating level, human disturbance, and the supply potential from clarifying the present forest rescoures, assets appraisal and the checking factors. These eight factors that effect the usage and benefit can be taken as the major factors. It also synthesizes the views of peer experts and experienced professional technical personnels in the frontline who are engaged in forest resources assets evaluation, and adopts the methods of the method-level analysis combined with Delphi method. This paper determines the weight matrix and factor scores for the eight factors to establish the corresponding evaluation system.Based on the evaluation of forestland benefits, this paper illustrates in detail the origin of rent and the formula derivation of the forest trees value. In the term of forest site classification and grading, combined the present methods of estimating forestland and wood, this paper estimate the basic price of forestland and wood value according to the current woodland and forest assets evaluation approach, and proposed a whole set of estimation methods for assessing the forest land and the value of standing forest. It also put forward the idea of introducing Forest Ecological Benefits into the woodland evaluation technical system by using forestry model rotating from the forestland benefit evaluation. |
