According to the document Nol elaborated by central government of China for promoting efficient use of fertilizers, the department of agriculture organized a vast program for soils testing and fertilizers recommendation. Thus, since 2005, the program reach 2498 crop production areas and it has received the attention of the community of these covered areas.Fertilizer formulation is based on soil testing and field research. According to the principles of plant nutrients requirement, the capacity of soil to supply the nutrients and the efficient use of fertilizers on the basis of reasonable application of organic fertilizer, the quantity of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and secondary elements and the number of trace elements is proposed. Such principles included fertilizer application, fertilizer application time and method. More simply, it's just, under the guidance of technical scientific application of fertilizers in agriculture. The main purpose of fertilizer recommendation is the adjustment between crop nutrients of soil solution and the capacity of soil to supply them at the right time.To solve the problems of soil fertility and avoid environmental pollution is always requested to perform soil testing before making fertilizer decision. Nowadays, there are many methods to evaluate soil fertility among which chemical analysis of soil samples, field experimentation, GIS method. The methods adopted in this research are:chemical analysis of soil samples and field experimentation with different crops and 3414 and 325 as field experimental design. This research has been conducted in Hubei province through four districts included Nanzhang, tianmen, Enshi and Xiantao. In all these districts the influence of different soils, different crop species, faming system and ecological conditions on the fertilizers application has been studied.The results of this research provided information that different soils types, different crops, rotation system, previous fertilizers application and cultivated crop had clearly influenced fertilizers application. The higher is soil fertility the lower the fertilizers application rate (the difference of CK and treatment with fertilizer is not obvious). For rape seed field for example, NK fertilizers application rate is higher on shallow-thick coarse ash soil than Gray alluvial soil type; while P seasonal application rate is higher on Gray alluvial soil type than shallow-thick coarse ash soil.
