Background:According to the National AIDS epidemic report on provide information by the China Center for Disease Control and prevention in 2014, among the newly discovered HIV infected people and AIDS patients, the radio infected through sexual transmission increased year by year, until December 2014, the radio through sexual transmission accounted for 92.2% of all forms of communication, in which heterosexual transmission is 66.4% and same-sex sexual transmission is 25.8%. Although the efficiency of HIV transmission is far lower than that of the shared syringe, the scale of the population is far beyond the latter. Many studies abroad have proved that the cooperative factor of HIV transmission is the disease. Reduce the spread of sex, especially the homosexual transmission is certainly the focus of our HIV prevention and control work in the future. Given to that sexual transmission is the main mode of transmission of AIDS in our country and gay (male) in the rate of gay (male) spread increases rapidly, therefore, to understand the treatment of male disease. Testing the HIV status and influence factors of male patients is conducive to the future more reasonable to carry out work related to the prevention and control, expand the STD clinic HIV testing, so that China’s AIDS prevention and control work on Sexual transmission will be improved.Object:Determine the factors that affect the HIV testing of male STD patients, and provide scientific basis for the expansion of HIV testing and HIV/AIDS prevention and STD comprehensive control in STD patients.Method:Select seven medical institutions in four cities as a research site according to the number of cases of STD, Quantitative questionnaire was conducted for STD clinic and qualitative interview to the STD patients who did not receive HIV testing and the medical personnel and the relevant management personnel of the STD clinic:1) Quantitative questionnaire was conducted for STD clinic, and the information and testing information were understood.2) To conduct in-depth qualitative interview to the STD patients who did not receive HIV testing, and to collect the reasons for the non HIV testing, and to understand the influencing factors of the HIV testing.3) The medical personnel and the relevant management personnel of the STD clinic were in-depth qualitative interviews to understand the factors that hinder the development of HIV testing.Through the quantitative questionnaire survey collected data, use EpiData3.1 to establish the database and input, and use SPSS 17 to analyze the data.Result:This study obtained 281 effective quantitative questionnaires, in-depth interviews 65 times, which include 36 STD clinic people,9 medical personnel people, 20 medical institutions management personnel people.1. Among all the investigated people, the rate of the male STD clinic testing is 35.9%(101/281) the overall testing rate is low, the hospital of specialized subject of male STD clinic were HIV testing rate was 47.1%(66/140), general hospital for 24.8% (35/141), the difference has statistical significance (P< 0.001). The medical staff of the general hospital and the medical staff of the specialist hospital had the difference of the HIV testing and the mobilization and the acceptance after mobilization were equally significant.2. The survey during the STD clinic were most commonly diagnosed as condyloma acuminatum (34%), there is no difference in the relationship between different sexually transmitted diseases and HIV testing.32.2% of the patients had received HIV testing, but 54.1% patients received recently a test is in the first half of the year.85.1% of the STD clinic were worried about the AIDS discrimination,80.4% fear of positive results. Among all the patients,63.3% had a paid sexual behavior, 8.9% homosexual sexual behavior. By multivariate analysis, the HIV testing of male STD patients is influenced by Testing of the necessity, awareness of HIV, HIV testing, past STD clinic visits and testing costs.3. Medical personnel and medical institutions management personnel believe that STD clinic patients HIV testing is very meaningful, but most of them are not very clear about national and local health administrative departments for STD patients HIV testing requirements, They said that there are many difficulties to carry out HIV testing, such as:denial of STD clinic market environment, testing fees, patient, doctors do not have enough time and energy. Most attenders think that he didn’t need HIV testing, or they will not take a test unless a doctor required. In addition, the testing costs, social discrimination, past testing and other cases have led to the HIV testing of STD clinic.Conclusion:1 There are many factors that affect the medical institutions to carry out STD clinic visits for HIV testing. Most of the medical institution management personnel and medical personnel are not very clear about countries specific requirements for the work. In addition, the doctors’ workload and time, the rejection to detect for various reasons, lead to the poor STD patients HIV testing mobilization.2 in the face of HIV testing, STD clinic has a lot of concerns, hinder its acceptance testing. In this study, the main factors affecting the testing of STD HIV were testing of the necessity and previous HIV testing.
