Clinical Study On Treatment Of Infantile Cough With Pulmonary Syndrome By Three Skin Decoction

Objective:Under the guidance of Traditional Chinese Medicine theory that the Lung and the Large Intestine are interior-exteriorl, we use the sanpi decoction to remedy children with cough that lung and stomach volume heat, and evaluate its clinical efficacy and security。Methods:60 cases which are diagnosed as acute bronchitis and pediatric cough that lung and stomach volume heat, aged from 2 to 14,no matter boys or girls, are divided into tow groups------treatment group and control group, each of them had 30 cases.The treatment group are treated by sanpi decoction, while the control group are treated by xiaoer feire kechuan oral solution. The course of treatment is one weak. After one weak, we will observe and record changes of clinical symptoms tongue picture and pulse of two groups that before and after treatment, and make a statistical analysis on the given data, and evaluate objectively the clinical efficacy and security of sanpi decoction.Results:In the treatment group, there are 12 cases recovered (40.000%),14 cases markedly improved (46.667%),3 cases improved (10.000%),1 invalid case (3.333%), the total effective rate is 96.667%. In the control group, there are 3 cases recovered (10.000%),3 cases markedly improved (10.000%),18 cases improved (60.000%),6 invalid case (20.000%),, the total effective rate is 80.000%. According to the chi-squared test P< 0.05,the total effective of two groups have significant difference. The treatment group was superior to the control group. The scores of the changes of two groups’main and inferior symptoms have significant difference(P< 0.05). The treatment group was superior to the control group on the improvement of two groups’ main and inferior symptoms. During treatment, serious adverse reactions are not found in the treatment group and the control group.Conclusions:The treatment of sanpi decoction on children with cough that lung and stomach volume heat, has exact curative effect and security, and has the widespread clinical application value.
