Clinical Study On Treatment Of Chronic Eczema With

Objective:Chronic eczema is one of the allergic diseases in the dermatology,it is also one of the most common skin disease in the dermatology.But it has a long course of treatment and it is severe itching and hard to cure it.It has a bad influence on patient’s everyday life. Its clinical symptom is thick skin and its periodical severe itch. There has been no perfect treatment to cure it and itself is easy to recur so far. This research aims at improving the treatment of chronic eczema.Through the improvement of the patient’s rash after taking internal treatment of herbal prescription which come from long clinical exprience,evaluate the effect of the herbal prescription.Indexes include mprovement of area of the rash, relief of extent of rash and its itch. At last observe the safety of the medicine.Methodrthis medical trial is from November 1st 2014 to February 28th 2015, Experimental subjects are from clinical outpatient of dongzhimen hospital outpatient department,who are diagnosed as chronic eczema with the special typical syndrome of Chinese medicine.There are 35 patients in the research,but 3 patients drop out The 32 patients are assigned to treatment group and control group at random.Their scores about the shape and aea of rash and itch are evaluated objectively.The 17 subjects in the treatment group are treated by herbal prescription and ointment(components include Chinese rhubarb, rhizoma curcumae, brim stone and so on)for external treatment two times a day.Control group of 15 subjects are treated by Runzao Zhiyang Capsule.4 tablets a day and and the ointment same as treatment group.The treatment of two groups last 4 weeks.scores of the subject are evaluated after two weeks and 4 weeks respectively,making comparsion with that is before treatment through the scores of main observed indexes and compare results between treatment group and control group. In At last,we observe the safety of the medicine of treatment group.Result:the 3 subjects who drop out don’t enter statistical data.The clinical observation manifest that of the 17 patients in the treatment group,4 are cured,6 are obvious effecive,2 are effective 5 are invalid and obvious effective rate is 58.82% the tatal effective rate is 70.58%;in the control group,3 arecured 2 are obvious effecive,3 are effective 7 are invalid and obvious effective rate is 33.33% the tatal effective rate is 53.33%..Though from x2 test there is no significance statistically,but from comparison of the data, effective rate of the treatment group is better than control group.After 4 weeks’treatment,compare the simple index repectively between treatment group and control group,it show that all the observed indexes of treatment group are better than control group though from general T-test and non-parametric test there is no significance statistically,but the data indicate that effective rate of treatment group is better than that of control group.During the course of the treatment,there is no detection of adverse reaction in the treatment group.It is safe for patient.Conclution:the wushaozhiyang herbal prescription can imrprove chronic eczema rash and its itch obviously.The treatment of chronic eczema of the herbal prescription is feasible and effective.
