Study On TCM Syndrome Of Hemodialysis Patients With Low T3 Syndrome

Object: Low triiodothyronine(T3)sydrome in the maintenance Hemodialysis is commonly appeared. Observing maintenance Hemodialysis patients with low triiodothyonine,and TCM syndrome types. Analysing the TCM syndrome types of Chronic renal disease and the Low triiodothyronine syndrome. Summarizing the characteristics of the etiology and pathogenesis. Providing a theoretical basis for the cure with Traditional Chinese Medicine to hemodialysis patients with low T3 syndrome. Make the Thyroid hormone 80ng/dl as standard,lower than80ng/dl as Low T3 group.higer than 80ng/dl as comparison group. Compare two groups’ ALB、HGB、CRP, and find their correlation. To investigate the effects of low T3 syndrome to malnutrition, micro-inflammatory response。Method: Collecting 100 patients from the Dialysis Room in Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Oriental Hospital, Detected the Predialysis serum creatinine, Urea nitrogen,ALB,CRP,Kt/V,Proteolytic rate,After thoroughly serum creatinine,After thoroughly urea nitrogen, Calculate Urea clearance rate. ThroughTraditionalChineseMedicine inspection,smelling,inqury,Pa]pation,record patients‘tongue.pulse,based on the Ministry of Health “Chinese medicine clinical research guidelines 2002 edition of the syndrome of chronic renal failure,,,analysing the low 丁3 group of patients with TCM syndrome,statistical analysis,exploring the regularity of TCM syndrome distribution of low T3 syndrome in maintenance hemodialysis.Results:① Among 100 patients with maintenance Hemodialysis,commonly appeared Low T3 syndrome?② Compared the low 丁3 group with normal thyroid hormone group, low T3 group of ALB、HGB、Kt/V was significantly lower than the normal group,P<0. 05,the results was statistically significant. Low T3 group of CRP was higher than the normal group,P<0. 05,the results was statistically significant.③ In low T3 group,T3 have relationship with ALB、HGB, they have positive correlation,FT3 and CRP have negative correlation relationship④ In low T3 group, Deficiency syndrome to designate the most Spleen and Kidney Yang deficiency syndrome, followed by Liver and Kidney Yin deficiency syndrome, Yin and Yang deficiency syndrome,Spleen and Kidney deficiency syndrome,Qi-yin deficiency syndrome,in the Empirical,the most Syndrome was Damp-heat Syndrome,followed by Dampness syndrome,Stasis syndrome. In comparison group,the most Syndrome is Qi-yin deficiency,in the Empirical, the most Syndrome was Damp-heat Syndrome.Conclusion:① Patients with the maintenance dialysis commonly exist Low T3 sydnrome.② Low T3 can aggrevated the malnutritional and Micro-inflammatory state③ During the hemodialysis, large amount of thyroid-binding globulin and thyroid hormone were lost with the dialysate. At the same time,hemodialysis possibly restrained the synthesis of thyroxine. So the hemodialysis would aggravated low T3.④ In MHD patients with low T3 syndrome, Deficiency syndrome to designate the most Spleen and Kidney Yang deficiency syndrome, in the positive factors, the most is Damp-heat Syndrome. In comparison group, the most syndrome is Qi-y in Deficiency, in the Empirical,the most is Damp—heat Syndrome.
