Cancer related fatigue is the most common symptoms of lung cancer, which can belong duration and can not be alleviated by rest and sleep, make a serious affect on thequality of life of patients.Currently, medical scientists has already realized that notonly focus on the treatment of tumors, but also focus on improving the quality of lifeof cancer patients, quality of life has become an indispensable indicator of cancerefficacy. Therefore, a detailed understanding and analysis of the incidence of CRF andits impaction on quality of life is important to remiss patients’CRF and improve thequality of life of patients.ObjectiveTo describe CRF in lung cancer patients in Dalian about level and extent.Tounderstand influential factors of CRF.To analysis the correlation between CRF andanxiety/depression,sleep disorder, quality of life.MethodsCollecting the patients’clinical information by questionnaire and clinicalinterview.Making up the questionnaires for lung cancer, which include the generalinformation,Piper Fatigue Scale,The Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale,AthensInsomnia Scale,European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer.166patients’questionnaires were collected.Statistical analyses were performed withSPSS(v19.0) to the comprehensive analysis.Results1.The overall score of CRF in Patients with lung cancer is5.66±2.02, belongs tomoderate fatigue. And the score of behavior, emotional, sensory, cognitive/emotionaldimensions of fatigue is5.97±2.42,5.50±2.40,5.50±2.40,4.81±2.09.2.After univariate analysis,The overall score of CRF about sex, marital status, education, health care payment methods, histological type, stage of diagnosis, currenttreatment regimen, P>0.05. Among them, difference between level of age, surgery ornot, anemia degree, serum albumin degree has statistical signification, P<0.05. 3.Anxiety/depression,sleep disorders correlate positively with CRF in lungcancer patients(r=0.344,0.186,0.639, P <0.05).4.The overall score of QOL of lung cancer is84.05±6.48.The degree of CRFcorrelate negatively with total scores of CRF (r=-0.210~-0.533, P <0.05),and alsocorrelate negatively with functional scales of QOL (r=-0.170~-0.353, P<0.05),while correlate positively with field with symptom scales of QOL(fatigue,nausea,vomiting,pain)(r=0.284~0.532, P<0.05),and also correlate positivelywith the insomnia,diarrhea,(r=0.083~0.188, P <0.05).Conclusion1.Mean rate of general fatigue and four dimensions in lung cancer aremoderate. And about70%patients suffered from moderate to severe fatigue.2.Different age,had surgery, the degree of anemia and the degree of serumalbumin have different influence on CRF in lung cancer patients. The patients who are66to75years and>75years of two ages, suffering from anemia or suffering from lowserum albumin have more serious degree fatigue than others.3. The more severe anxiety/depression or sleep disorders, the more severe fatiguepatients suffer from.4.the overall score of QOL and function level in patients with lung cancerreduce, the most serious one of symptom field is fatigue, and the score of diarrhea ishightest.5.Cancer-related fatigue correlated with the overall quality of life of patients withlung cancer. The patients who experienced severe CRF would have poor QOL,andtheir functional status also became lower. If the patients experienced symptoms suchas pain, insomnia, nausea and vomiting, they would feel more fatigue.
