Objective:Primary bronchogenic carcinoma of lung is malignant tumor orgining from bronchus mucosa or gland. Now there are few complete responsive therapies on various kinds of lung cancer clinically. Conbined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine can not only educe antitumous effect of chemotherapy,bue also enhance strengthening body resistance of traditional Chinese medicine. This pharmaceutical experiment aims to confirm Xie's lung cancer on the 1st have a better clinically curative effect on lung cancer than chemotherapy of western medicine.Methods:C57BL/6J tumor-bearing mice inoculated Lewis lung cancer for 10-14days were sacrificed. Tumor tissue was taken out under asepsis condition. Suspension liquid of neoplastic cell was made accoirding the ratio 1:3 of tumor quality(g) to Sodium Chloride volume(ml). 40 C57BL/6J mice weighing 18~22g were each transplanted suspension liquid 0.2ml in right axil subcutaneouly. Thus animal model of Lewis lung cancer metastasis in mouse was duplicated. 2 days later, these mice were randomly divided into four groups: model group, the traditional Chinese medicine group, cisplatin group and conbined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and cisplatin group.Mice in model group were each lavaged Sodium Chloride 0.6 ml. Mice in the traditional Chinese medicine group were each lavaged Xie's lung cancer on the 1st 0.6 ml(60g/kg). Mice in cisplatin group were each intraperitoneal injected cisplatin 0.1ml(1mg/ml). Mice in conbined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and cisplatin group were each lavaged mixture of traditional Chinese medicine and cisplatin 0.1ml(1mg/ml). These animals were administrated orally for 14 days. All animals were sacrificed on the 15th day. Mouse was weighed and tumor was taken out. The rate of restraining tumor, microvessel density(MVD) and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) was calculated.Results:1. The rate of restraining tumor in the traditional Chinese medicine group, cisplatin group or conbined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and cisplatin group were higher than that that in model group. The rate of restraining tumor in the raditional Chinese medicine group was higher than that in the conbined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine,cisplatin group and model group.2.The weight of mice in the traditional Chinese medicine group or onbined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and cisplatin group was gained much higher than that in model group. The weight of mice in the cisplatin group was losed more than that in model group.3.The expressiuon of MVD in the traditional Chinese medicine group or conbined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and cisplatin group was significantly down-regulated comparing with that in model group.At the same time, The expressiuon of MVD in the traditional Chinese medicine group was significantly down-regulated comparing with that in the conbined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine,cisplatin group and model group.4.The expressiuon of VEGF in the traditional Chinese medicine group or conbined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and cisplatin group was down-regulated comparing with that in model group. But the expressiuon of VEGF in cisplatin group was no statistical difference comparing with that in model group.Conclutions: These data suggested in the lab ,the rate of restraining tumor,MVD and VEGF down-regulating in the traditional Chinese medicine group have a significant advantage over those in model group and cisplatin group. The adverse effects in the traditional Chinese medicine group are much less than those in cisplatin group or conbined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and cisplatin group. Xie's lung cancer on the 1st has an obvious effect on tumor-restraining and toxin-attenuating.
