Objective:To investigate the effect of blood sugar level on the early prognosis of acute cerebral infarction. Methods104cases with acute cerebral infarction (<72h)were consecutively brought into the prospective. Patient’s assessment used by the U.S. National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) and use the Modified Rankin Scale score(mRs)30days after the onset. Logistic regression analysis was to analyze the influence of factors affect blood sugar levels and hyperglycemia on the prognosis of acute cerebral infarction in early stage, P<0.05statistically significant.Results:In104cases of acute cerebral infarction patients,43cases (41.3%) with Hyperglycemia, age, history of diabetes mellitus, NIHSS score were the risk factors of acute cerebral infarction with hyperglycemia (P<0.05), history of diabetes mellitus, NIHSS score were acute infarction combined hyperglycemia an independent risk factore(P<0.05).(2) The influence of mRs score as significantly associated with infection, Hyperglycemia, NIHSS score (P<0.05), hyperglycemia and NIHSS score were Independent predictors of early acute cerebral infarction. Conclusion Hyperglycemia is an independent risk factor for poorer prognosis of early acute cerebral infarction.
