| In this study ,WD1 which could regenerated through winter was used . XJ2 and GWR were used as comparison . Changes of the activities of SOD , POD , CAT in seedling and regrowth-bud before and after chilling stress were studied ; The contents of praline , root vigour , electric conductivity and the contents of MDA were studied too . In this foundation , the physiological mechanism of enhance cold resistance in seedling of rice by using three cryoprotectants was researched . The main results were indicated as follows :1. The activities of SOD , POD and CAT of three varieties under chilling stress were increased fiercely . Significant difference at 0.05 level existed in different varieties . WD1 was the most increased , XJ2 was second and GWR was the lowest. Osmoticas such as praline , the contents of MDA was accumulated massly under chilling stress . There was significant positive correlation between praline and POD , significant positive correlation also existed between MDA and CAT ; while negative correlation were observed among MDA, SOD and POD .2. The electric conductivity of different varieties under chilling stress showed that the sequence of electric conductivity from small to big is WD1 |
