In resent years, as the global population pressures and destruction of vegetation growing, the growing phenomenon of soil erosion and the impact zone gradually expand to become a serious global environmental problems and disasters, which has been a threaten for the survival and development of the human being. Therefore soil erosion as a major environmental problem worldwide has been more and more concerned by governments and science and technology workers around the world.This paper has chosen the Luoning County in the west mountains region of Henan province as a case example District. Under the technical support of RS and GIS, and with the help of the TM image data of a time, this paper has carried on a research about the soil erosion condition of the Luoning County. It can quickly know the space distribute structure of soil erosion, and the soil run of condition of dissimilarity erosion strength at that time's cross section under the influence of plant quilt and geography (slope) and LUCC etc. And further inquiry into the relation of each factor and the soil erosion.
