We need a new diagnoses and analysis in the construction and appliance of greening trees in order to give some useful suggestions and experiences for the urban greening task.In nowadays, the urban greening used to focus on the point of manual landscape, with much more administrative interference and a trend of flow of the tide, leading to a high investment costs but without the desired results, so the construction of urban landscape was restricted. Therefore, the analysis of the s greening trees'application status in Shandong province and the summarization of the trees'application rule and method will give suggestions practically and significantly.In this paper, we investigated the main greening trees in Shandong province and analyzed the existing problems with considering the status of both here and abroad. We presented the city landscaping trees status solutions and the development of ideas and recommendations by based on the actual survey data and the methods of theory with practice and contradictions analysis: to enhance the research of development and use of greening trees; improve plant conservation management; in the distribution of tree species, seek truth from facts, give attention to both the speed trees and slow trees; adopt effective means to improve the species rich degrees; improve urban landscaping efficiency, economic efficiency and ecological efficiency simultaneously in order to improving the overall level of the province's urban landscaping.The paper also present the landscaping trend forecast based on the analysis of status: the trend of more environmental, more colorful, more human natural and more choice of special species.Therefore, in accordance with the province's status, choosing urban greening species adjust measures to local, which will be mainly native species and selected species, and get the landscape, cultural, ecological and economic benefits simultaneously. And also not limited to the old law, active new garden species and domesticate plants, explore new landscaping species, to enrich the landscape garden plants in our province.
