The effects of Gibberellins(GA) and mepiquat chloride(Pix) on production of sesame at different period (initiating bloom period and bloom period) were studied in this study. The field experiments of this study were carried out at the farmland of Jilin Agricultural University in Changchun city of Jilin province. Common breed sesame was used in the experiments. Split plot design was adopted in the experiments. Whole plot was made as period/stage (2 levels, marked by T) and split plot was made as concentration (3 levels, marked by C), repeated 3 times. Administration measures , density and fertilizer of different districts were same.The leaf area and its index measure : period was made as main treatment (2 levels) , medicine as vice treatment (3 levels). The result of Duncan's Measure showed that Tl was better than T2(P<0.05).Difference of vice treatment: C2 is the best among C1, C2 , C3 and the difference is significant.The difference of period and concentration is not significant by F test. The result showed that effects of period and concentration of medicine spraying was independent and combination of Tl and c2 will be best.The result of physiological and ecologic measures are below: Different medicines and level effected evidently the photosynthetic rate, the transpiration rate, the stomatal conductance and the intercellular CO2 concentration of sesame. The best eligible concentration can regulate effectively the photosynthetic rate, the transpiration rate, the stomatal conductance , the intercellular CO2 concentration and it can degrade leaf temperature ; It's effect on photosynthesis is slender when concentration of medicine spraying is very low ,but it will not bring out good effect on photosynthesis when high concentration was adopted. When eligible medicine concentration was sprayed , sesame increased the stomatal conductance and the transpiration rate, reduce the temperature of leaf by absorbing enough water through root and raise net photosynthetic rate , then boost productivity.In a word , the gaseous interchange of sesame made analogic ecological response. Because photosynthesis of sesame leaf was also affected by temperature and concentration of carbon dioxide etc. ecological factors, the effect of other ecological effects need further study.The result of content of enzymes measure as follow: The essence of senescence's course is the course of metabolic disorder of ROS. The activity of SOD, CAT, POD degrades as plant grows and develops, while the content of free praline and MDA will elevate accordingly. Measuring content and activity of enzymes can provide objective physiological and biochemical index for aging of sesame.
