This experiment was designed to study the influence of replacing soybean meal with cottonseed consentrate meal in the feedstaff of PIC growing pigs on its productive performance and serum biochemical indexes. Besides, this experiment was designed a digestibility trial to evaluate the nutritional value of cottonseed consentrate meal, so as to offer some theory basis on rational using cottonseed consentrate meal. This study consists of feeding trial and digestibility trial. The feeding trial used single factor trial design. In the feeding trial, 48 growing pigs, about 15kg weight, divided into 3 groups stochasticly, as the control group, group Ⅱ and group Ⅲ respectively, with 4 replications per group and 4 growing pigs per replication. The control group fed on basal diet. Group Ⅱ and group Ⅲ fed on basal diet with 7.5% and 15% cottonseed consentrate meal respectively. Afterr 56 days, productive performance and serum biochemical indexes were investigated. The results show: (1) The average diet weight gains of the control group and group II had little change(P>0.05), but the average diet weight gains of group III decreased significantly (P<0.01). (2) Average daily feed intake had little change among the three groups (P>0.05). (3) Feed/gain ratios (F/G) of the control group and group II had little change (P>0.05), but Feed/gain ratios (F/G) of group Ⅲ increased significantly(P<0.01). (4) The economic indexes of group II improve dramatically (P<0.01). (5) Our results also indicated that serum biochemical indexes of the growing pigs were all in normal range and had little change among groups (P>0.05) except ALB, ALB/GLO and T-CHO. The above results suggested that replacting soybean meal with cottonseed consentrate meal in the PIC growing pig's feedstaff may be feasible for production practice. The performance of group II was the beast among the three groups. In the digestibility trial, four healthy PIC male pigs, about 45kg weight, were used to study the apparent digestibilities of cottonseed consentrate meal (including CP,Amino acids,EE,CF and NFE) .The results showed that the apparent digestibilities of CP,EE,CF and NFE were 82.82±1.77%,...
