The Southeast regions of Daxing'an Mountain is the important commodity grain base of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Because distribution of rainfall space-time is very unbalance, distribution of rainfall throughout the year centralizes in July to August mostly, it is dry in spring every year and even it is dry in spring, summer and autumn in a year, these reasons make single birth be low and total output unstable.The irrigation technique in these regions are very lag, the water using rate is too low. Therefore, it is important to develop the new irrigation methods and water-saving technique to solve the problems about supply and need of water resources.Base on the overseas and domestic research, we had established "the water-saving irrigation demonstration plot"in southeast regions of Daxing'an Mountain in Hulunbeier City. Take soy, corn, wheat and beet as the research objects, we had established water-saving irrigation synthetical experimental investigation plot where the main irrigation method are sprinkling irrigation and dripping irrigation. We had done some researches such as different engineering of wellhead, different methods of water saving irrigation and patterns of water saving irrigation, techniques of saving water about the ground on the hillslope, and analysed the economic effect. We draw a conclusion.(1)Water saving irrigation has notable benefit. It is feasible to develop water saving irrigation in the southeast regions of Daxing'an Mountain. Sprinkling irrigation improve obviously crop yields and its drought resistance ,the rate of emergence increases by 4.8%~13.4% and growing season advance by 4~7 days, which is very important for the climate feature of this area that is low temperature and short frost-free season and makes farm crop avoid freeze injury. So we should adopt quality seed whose growing season is longer to improve crop yields further. Sprinkling irrigation affects production trait such as stalk thick and plant height of farm crop, corn yield averagely increases by 66%, soy yield averagely increases by 61%, wheat yields averagely increases by 68%.(2)According to research on water-saving irrigation in the southeast regions of Daxing'an Mountain and natural condition, water resource condition, economic condition and ground condition, we put forward reasonable mode of agriculture water-saving irrigation: drought resistance saving water mode, supplementary saving water mode, and full irrigation mode. There will be a good prospect in using these modes.(3)based on experiment water saving irrigation study, the irrigation schedule agreed with three modes were established.(4)According to research on water-saving irrigation mode in dry land field in the southeast regions of Daxing'an Mountain, we find that we can gain obviously economic benefit, societal benefit and ecological benefit by using advanced water-savingirrigation technique such as sprinkling irrigation and sowing with water for drought resistance to develop dry land irrigation. Base on condition of sprinkling irrigation in experiment block in 1999, when sloping farmland is irrigated by the way sprinkling irrigation for three times, soy yield increases by 70%, corn yield increases by 62.5%;when flat ground is irrigated by the way sprinkling irrigation for three times, soy yield increases by 171.1%, corn yield increases by 184.8.5%, sugar beet yield increases by 186.8%.(5)Study of water-saving irrigation in The Southeast regions of Daxing'an Mountain is the optimum composition of water conservation ^ agriculture > management and special operational policy measures, it formats a new water-saving irrigation extension model. It has high practical value and wide promoted application perspectives.In conclusion, the practice proves that it is technically feasible to develop dryland sprinkling irrigation in the southeast regions of Daxing'an Mountain, and it is economically reasonable. The study can accelerate the development of water saving irrigation technology in the southeast regions of Daxing'an Mountain. It also provided the foundation for agriculture development.
